If the agent is downgraded from version 2.23 (or newer) to a previous version (2.22 or older), backups may fail with an error message Appliance Error: Illegal Seek .

This failure is due to an updated setting in aristos.cfg that is incompatible with previous versions of the agent. 

To resolve this error, edit aristos.cfg and remove the line ‘UEFI_TRANSFER_DUMPS=true’ from the file and save it.  Restart the agent and backups should complete normally.
